ACHIEVEMENTS:
Department of Physics conducted UGC sponsored two day National Seminar December 2015. Prof. Piasecki , Prof. Krishna Rao, etc were participated as resource persons. Over 30 papers were published as an online sovuneir. It was organised by the coordinator Dr. Shaik Mahammad Nayeem with the assistance of Dr. P. Indira, Mr. D. Sampurna Rao and M. Srinivasa Reddy.
Department of Physics had one Minor Research Project (MRP) worth Rs.5,00,000/- in her crown and is successfully completed by Dr. Shaik Mahammad Nayeem within 16 months during 2015-16.
Department of Physics had published over 40 research articles during 2014-21. They are published in peer reviewed international journals. Dr. Dr. Shaik Mahammad Nayeem had himself published over 35 articles in the period 2014-21 in ELSEVIER, SPRINGER, TAYLOR& FRANCIS journals. His name is well recognized in the teaching community. He got world Scientist Rank in two field of sciences namely Physical Sciences and Life sciences. He also co-authored a book under the publication of ELSEVIER. He recently published three research articles on SARS-CoV-2 basing on Simulations. They were well recognized by the Educational Minister Dr. M. Suresh and the Principal Secretary Sri. Satish Chandra.
Department of Physics staff had successfully completed several online MOOCS courses like NPTEL, SWAYAM, RCs, OCs and workshops. The staff also attended several national and International conferences, seminars etc.,
