It had published more than 50 research papers in very familiar journalslike ELSEVIER, SPRINGER, HINDAWI, TAYLOR & FRANCIS etc., Further; a chapter inan International book of ELSEVIER is also coauthored from K.R.K. Govt. Degree College.Furthermore,oneResearchProjectwasbaggedinitscredit.Moreover,1seminarwasorganized. Several papers (over 40) are presented in seminars organized by other institutions.Thus the education in the college aims towards overall development in research pertinent tocreative/ critical thinking, nurturing novelty and distinction. K.R.K. Govt. Degree Collegesees its students building capacity to acquire global skills for research with high professionalexpertise and better quality of education. Our Department of Physics published 3 researchpapers on Covid-19 concentrating on Computational methods to choose a drug which suits toSARS-CoV-2illness.

            The research articles items are chosen and evaluated several parameters on Gree solvents andionicliquids, environmental friendly liquids.

2) The Department of Physics shows much interest in awarding cash prizes as Rs. 1000/- for first prize and Rs.500/- for the second prize in all the Semester end examinations, in order to encourage the students towards competitiveness and impart scientific skills.
