Waste Management

Solid waste management:
The solid wastes in the campus are disposed systematically.
Different colour dustbins are provided in the whole college at respective places to collect the solid waste. All these solid wastes are properly disposed by the workers by dumping them in the yards outside the college.
Liquid waste management:
Liquid waste from the points of generation like the canteen and toilet in both hostel and college is segregated and let out through common drainage facility to a waste water tank at the corner in the campus. This helps to maintain and improve groundwater levels.
E-waste management:
Due to frequent advancement in the technology, various electronic equipments/ products/gadgets tend to become obsolete and hence there is a need of E-waste management. The e-waste is kept in a room. The E-auction and disposal should be the consent of APCCE, Govt of AP.
Hazardous Chemicals and radioactive waste management:
Our Physics department is using Non-Hazardous Chemicals like Green Chemicals for their research activities. Further, our college Physics and Chemistry departments discarded the use of radioactive material from their practical. Recently, physics department published papers on SARS-CoV-2 by computational methods without using Chemicals.
