Strengths:

Highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching & non-teaching staff is our strength.

Faculty support in major administrative work of college as Vice principal, as Criterion 1 coordinator. Also, as Inclusive centre coordinator and conveners of WEC, Career Guidance Cell, Student advice committee etc.

We have ICT classroom with interactive white board for teaching & learning for UG students.

The department has suitable instruments like Colori meters, PH meters, Conductometers, potentiometers, etc.

Availability of Special instrument like UV-Vis spectrophotometer with computation.

Achievements of the department -2021-22:
1.Dr.P.V.Hemalatha,has received "Adarsha Vidya Saraswathi Rashtriya Puraskar "- A national award of excellence -2022 by Global Management Council( Glacier Journal Research Foundation ),Ahmadabad.
2. Dr.P.V.Hemalatha,has also received " Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing " by Asian Research Journal of Arts& Social Sciences 2022, in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the quality of journal dt: 31st January,2022.
